30 apps will be preselected and our prestigious Jury will pick 3 lucky winners in each category (game, entertainment, utility and other).
Appsfire, the app-sharing service we’ve posted on several times and recently reviewed – is going to run the App Star Awards in partnership with SFR/AppliStore and LeWeb Paris 09.
The idea of a contest to pick out some great new iPhone apps before they ever hit the App Store is a very exciting one – and I’m doubly excited because I get to be on the judging panel for these new apps! I don’t know how, but I somehow slipped onto a rather illustrious list of folks who are on the awards’ ‘über-jury’.
